This week, Senate Democrats may vote to raise your taxes.

The Inflation Reduction Act will not raise taxes on anyone making $400,000 a year or less. In fact, it only closes tax loopholes that are exploited by the wealthy and corporations.
IOW: Republican politicians can frame "raising taxes on the rich" as "raising YOUR taxes", and Republican voters will buy it.
TLDR: Republicans can lie and totally get away with it.
