I just received a Quora notif email with the title "How do SO MANY Americans believe the BLATANT lies??!!!!smh"

...and I'm, like, yeah, the Trumpists will believe anything, it seems like, no matter how illogical.

...and then I look at the message, and it's from a pro-Trump Quora group.

...with one of those memes which mixes truth and strawman representations of "liberal" views, and ridicules them unilaterally.

I can only think these folks are very swayed by a need to conform to perceived social norms -- and certain political interests have been perfecting their ability to exploit that.

Conservoids are the security vulnerability in democracy. :-/
