A link to this page indicates that I said something which, in a sane society, would be so obviously sarcasm that I wouldn't need to mention it.

Under present socio-political conditions, however, it seems that there are enough people who would do or say things in all sincerity which ought to be obviously terrible or wrong that it is now necessary to explicitly note when a comment or suggestion is intended sarcastically or ironically rather than seriously.

The comment which led you to this page was, in fact, intended sarcastically or ironically.
