Paranapodaidiokinesis (noun):

  1. the mental paralysis one feels when confronted with the contradiction of a belief that is so obviously true that one has never bothered to remember the chain of reasoning behind it
  2. the intense frustration experienced when it becomes necessary to explain the blindingly obvious

Etymology

From "para" (incorrectly, beyond, wrongly, harmfully) + "anapoda" (Greek: upside-down) + "idio" (Greek "idiotes": literally, one who declines to understand public affairs) + "kinesis" (Greek-I-think: movement or energy) → the experience of having things incorrectly turned upside-down by a willfully ignorant person.
